LOVELADIES, NJ 2021 Compound

The owners wanted an elegant Guest House to accompany their magnificent home on a peninsula. So they purchased the property next to theirs and began the project. They quickly decided to upgrade their slightly dated Main House and grounds into a transitional style beach destination for extended family and guests. The compound, wholly overhauled, became a multi-year project of magnitude and beauty, including a brand new Main House Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, four bathrooms, and a stunningly intelligent hardscape & landscape design. The lovely NuCedar siding on this transitional style beach house is accented with copper roofs and trim above the multi-colored stonework. The vaulted ceilings and geometric chandeliers on the top floor greatroom provide an elegant space for large gatherings. Featured as a Long Beach Island Foundation Tour Home, this house became the inspiration for many looking to build this fresh, new beach house style.

Step into the future with this unique Industrial-Modern home. It is oriented squarely on the dunes, allowing its architectural design to make the most of the sweeping Atlantic Ocean views. The color palette of caramel and gray leaves the door wide open to the particular colors of the season. In summer, kelly greens and blues encompass the great room. The October winds bring hues of yellow, accented by the Autumn oranges and browns of the dune grass. Room-to-Grow Renovation

This fully functional beach home was comfortable before this renovation. It had a pool and patio and sat on a beautiful lagoon. However, it needed extensive updating and an expanded area for the family to gather. THE DUNES, LBI Room-to-Grow Renovation

This visually balanced home was crafted with superior materials. The design boasts a 48" high base of stone and copper surrounding the perimeter and copper-trimmed windows and lanterns. The marble entry is stunning. A beveled glass front door accents it. Brazilian cherry flooring was installed and accented by teak railings. Custom millwork is integrated into the designer kitchen, created by Rich Woodward of Handmade Furniture. The backyard pavilion features a generously sized pool, spa, and pergola. Drive the boulevard to quiet Loveladies, LBI. Once there, imagine turning east onto a sandy lane and pulling into your beachfront getaway. This home jets out over the dune, beckoning you to get settled and start enjoying the good life. We built this home initially in 2011. It is still one of our favorite construction stories to tell. We carefully and expertly installed the large circular sweeping staircase. Expansive bending walls guide guests and family through the labyrinth of bed and entertainment rooms. Each deck is lined with Mahogany Wood railings; one of them features a built-in pool. The others feature an exquisite circular copper roof and sweeping ocean views. The owners of this home tore down their existing home and built a new airy custom home with plenty of beach house extras for their grandkids and hobbies. Backyard Pavilion

The backyard becomes a welcome beach house extension when summertime brings family and friends together. These photos show a well-designed pavilion that can be enjoyed from early morning into the night. Two nicely appointed outdoor showers accommodate guests coming home from the beach. The sparkling pool is surrounded by a beautiful bluestone bar with a grill and dining area. The exceptional pavers, lighting, and greenery make this a private paradise. Beach Haven Addition

Why not increase the size of your beach home by adding a family room/ kitchenette on top of your detached or breezeway garage? In these images, Cindy Kelly Kitchen Design provided the design and installation of this kitchen and greatroom cabinetry. KHE completed this project five years ago at the beginning of the dominant gray and white kitchen trend. It still looks fresh and welcoming today.
